POSSIBILITIES OF INVESTMENT IN FACILITIES/INSTITUTIONS IN THE FIELD OF EDUCATION

In the Republic of Croatia, in addition to public schools, private schools may also be established. The basis for the establishing of private schools ensues from the Institutions Act and Primary and Secondary School Education Act. An example of a private secondary school in Osijek-Baranja County is Gaudeamus, working according to the gymnasium (grammar school) teaching programmes. Any interested potential investors may follow the example of that school.

It is important to emphasize that Osijek-Baranja County has a developed network of secondary education institutions and that the majority of the 30 secondary schools are vocational (22), having all spatial and personnel conditions and a high level of equipment to be able to educate human resources required by the labour market and meeting the requirements of potential investors.
